I have had some great talks with alot of you, and I am so glad to have such a fine set of new friends, and I know today that I am a far better person because of our candid words.
Back to the subject line.
In the world we live in now I truly believe that we can no longer be a United States of America. This past election and hinting from 2004 America is a divided Nation. It seems that this Nation is split along party lines, about 33% Republicans and 38% Democrats. That leaves about 29% who do not really like either party.
And the way the GOP has been the last couple of years it is really like a new party of liberal republicans.
This is not the party of Ronald Reagan, or Teddy Roosevelt, or Abraham Lincoln. I did not leave the G.O.P, it left me and millions of us behind when they changed thier value system.
I changed my affilation to independent awhile back in 2000 because I do not want to have my name tied into a belief system that I do not support, I know that I am not alone, because alot of you have told me the same thing, yes there is some core values there, that we share but they are being chipped away, slowly.
Right now you can't tell who is a Democrat or Republican unless they put an R or a D beside thier name and that bothers me, I hope it bothers you, enough to make you fighting mad.
I have alot of friends in the G.O.P some of them are lobbyist and some of them are campaigners for Governers,Senators and Congressman, and one thing they all say is that change is coming inside the party. Michelle you know what I am talking about you hinted to in a a message you sent, and to someone who is very Conservative like myself I will not like it. That means that most of you will not like it either.
The G.O.P wants to become more mainstream and not be a voice for Conservatism, they think that Conservatism values are dying, and that we will eventually go away and be such a minority voice that no one will listen. Well they are wrong because Conservatives are gaining ground and the powers to be do not like it, they want to squash the uprising of us standing our ground.
Margaret Hoover a couple weeks ago was talking on the O'Rielly Factor about Prop 8 in California and told Bill that most of the up and coming in the G.O.P think that Gay marriage is acceptable and will eventually help get it passed, that has stuck me like a knife, because my friends who are in the G.O.P have been saying for a couple of years and you can see it is coming more to light and will probably be the law of the land. This is not the only issue, all of thier core values are being changed.
We have lost prayer in school, saying the pledge, protecting the unborn, keeping the flag from being burned, gun rights, land rights, smoking rights, and now we have lost Private industry such as Banking,Insurance, and the Auto industry. And with our New President and Harry and Nancy in charge they are going to jack up our health care, social security, our Defense, and on and on.
With the Republicans in High office and the Dems controlling the legislature we have been stretched, but now with the Dems controlling both I believe this Nation will break.
I ask you all to give me feedback on this, am I alone do you feel the same way? Do you think the G.O.P stand for traditional values, are they still conservatives? Have they sold us out? What can we do now to change it? Do we need to start a Conservative Party?
Conservative does mean more than abortion rights and gun rights there are lots of issues that need covered.
If we do not get the word out who will?
Who is going to fill the shoes of Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln,Teddy Roosevelt, John Adams,Thomas Jefferson,Ben Franklin,George Washington.
We need to get to those who still have a core value of Conservatism, pray for our Country and have God Bless America again.
I posted some of my beliefs in my Open Letter to the GOP and all Conservatives. You can still read it on Keep America Free on Facebook. And I have had wonderful feedback from folks all over the world, I put it on Townhall and recieved great response from there also.
What do we really believe in the DNC or the RNC? Or do you believe in the American People?
Is there any hope for the G.O.P? Who will lead us?
I pray we have HOPE, and Faith and a new leader will rise up and set this Nation back on course. Lets find that leader, and propell them to top and lead us out of the wilderness we have been in since 1988. I myself cannott take another 20 years of this.

GEORGIA RESULTS POINT OUT STRATEGY FOR FUTURE
By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN
Published on DickMorris.com on December 4, 2008
We have written before that the message of the November election results for us is simple: Conservatism and the free enterprise system are too important to leave their protection to the morons who run the Republican Party! So when even the ability to filibuster seemed on the verge of being taken from the forces of conservative government, we decided to act directly by helping to raise funds for independent expenditure groups who willing to run the kind of ads and do the sort of cyber-roots campaigning that it seemed to us was essential to stop the slide in conservative fortunes and to guarantee that the Democrats would not get the elusive but crucial 60th vote in the Senate. The challenge presented itself on Election Day when Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss failed to win the 50% of the vote necessary to avoid a runoff. In the runoff, won by Chambliss this past Tuesday, the Democrats had their final shot at getting the 60 votes they will need in the Senate to cut off debate and jam through any legislation they wish.
Over the past four weeks, we have reached out to you and to the Fox News audience for donations to independent expenditure groups to finance their independent expenditure in the Georgia Senate race. We didn't ask anyone's permission or co-ordinate with any of the powers-that-be. These organizations grasped the essential point that the way to appeal to Georgia voters was to explain the Senate rules and to underscore that Obama might be able to pass his most radical agenda -- unchecked -- if the Democrats won in the Georgia Senate runoff which pitted Chambliss against Democratic challenger Jim Martin.
The geniuses who run the Republican Party, as always, had it wrong. The conventional wisdom was that Chambliss should stress his record and Martin's liberalism as if the national balance in the Senate were not on the line. But we insisted that the essential point that it was the fact that Chambliss was the potential 60th seat that would impel Georgians to flock to the polls. Independent expenditure groups ran almost a million dollars of ads in Georgia (a huge amount for a medium sized state) emphasizing the need to stop Obama from getting a super majority in the Senate.
And it worked. Where most polls had projected a narrow Chambliss victory of two to four points, he won with a resounding fourteen point margin. Rather than being trampled by a rush of Democratic voters, the Republican candidate was propelled to a big victory by a huge conservative turnout, no doubt impelled and catalyzed by the efforts of media and internet campaigning financed by independent expenditure groups!
Now, even if the Democrats cheat Minnesota out of the services of Senator Norm Coleman and put Al Franken in his place, the filibuster will be safe, a weapon to defend our freedom.
This is the second time that this strategy of using independent expenditure groups to get out the right message has worked. When McCain disdained any media which attacked Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, independent expenditure groups jumped in and aired ads exposing the relationship. The result was that instead of Obama cruising to the predicted ten to twelve point victory forecast in most polls, the undecided vote all broke against him and he won by only six points - not enough to win the supermajority he coveted in the Senate. And this week, his efforts were frustrated again by the Chambliss win in Georgia.
So this sets the pattern for resistance to Obama's socialist agenda over the next four years. When a crucial test is underway, we will appeal for your donations to independent expenditure groups to wage the battle with no holds barred. And, together, maybe we can do a lot to save the country!

A letter From Grandpa
I found this posted on a group in linked in.
LETTER FROM GRANDPA
From an Anonymous Grandpa: "Guess you heard that 68% of "the youth vote" went to Obama My granddaughter called this morning to tell me she was one of them. I replied with this e-mail: The election of Obama comes down to this. Your grandmother and I, your mother and other productive wage-earning taxpayers will have their taxes increased and that means less income. Less income means we will have to cut back on basic purchases, gifts and handouts. That includes firing the Hispanic lady who cleans our house twice a month. She just lost her job. We can't afford her anymore. What is the economic effect of Obama's election on you personally? Over the years, your grandmother and I have given you thousands of dollars in food, housing, cash, clothing, gifts, etc., etc. By your vote, you have chosen another family over ours for help. So in the future, if you need assistance with your rent, money for gas, tires for your car, someone to bring you lunch, etc....call 202-456-1111. That's the telephone number for the Office of the President of the United States. I'm sure Mr. Obama will be happy to send a check from his personal or business accounts or leave cash in an envelope taped to his front door. It's like this. Those who vote for the president should consider what the impact of an election will be on the nation as a whole and not just be concerned with what they can get for themselves (welfare, etc.). What Obama voters don't seem to realize is that the government's money comes from taxes collected from taxpaying families. Raising taxes on productive people means they will have less money to spend on their families. ..... Love you Sally, but call the number listed above when you need help.
Love Grandpa Joe"

Glenn Beck talks with Senator Jim DeMint
Audio Available:
December 3, 2008 - 12:31 ET
Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina
GLENN: Now if I could just get some Republicans that actually understood the Constitution and knew what was going on, I'd be grateful. The other thing is that as everybody is talking about politics an everything else, I think we need to stand back from the picture and see what's really going on and I've been telling you for a while things are bad. And as things get bad, what is the only thing you can depend on? You have to know, what is it you can depend on? I believe you can depend on your family and you can depend on your God. But we have chased got out of our life. We have replaced God with our dollar, quite honestly with our flag. Our flag stands now for I think ideology, really our system of government and our system of government doesn't even know what it's based on anymore. It was based on God, man's rights coming from God and going to the individual and the individual loans certain parts of those rights, loans them to the government, and the government's job is to protect them and to help us be able to clear the path to keep justice alive so bad guys get prosecuted, so good guys can win. But we have so chased God out and I just, I don't know about you. I'm sure so many within the sound of my voice pray for God to stay his hand for a while. Please, God, I feel like, you know, I feel like just saying, please, there's one person, I know there's one person out there and there's tons. There's millions of good people and hopefully we're all praying that things will just slow down just a little bit until more people wake up. Well, at the same time that's going on, to show you how out of touch our leaders are in Washington, I'm going to bring in Senator Jim DeMint. He is a Republican from South Carolina.
Senator DeMint, they opened yesterday this big capital project which is, what was it, $400 million over budget?
SENATOR DeMINT: More like $680 million, I think, $680 million, about four years behind schedule. But it's a beautiful place.
GLENN: Oh, I'm sure it is.
SENATOR DeMINT: Would be very proud of the way it looks. But obviously I'm concerned about the, I guess the faith aspect of it. I really appreciated what you were saying while I was waiting to come on the air is that our country is not our government. The important things really come from God, our families and that's how we're going to rebuild this country. But it has been discouraging to me to see just in bits and pieces that the bureaucrats and a lot of the politicians trying to secularize our history, change our history and sometimes I feel like I don't have enough fingers to stick in the dike and when the capital visitors center, when I did my tour of that several months back and realized that they had left out some important references, historically accurate aspects of our faith history were left out.
GLENN: Like, give me an example.
SENATOR DeMINT: Well, I think the most obvious and blatant -- keep in mind this is no accident. I think that would be everyone's first thought, "Well, they just --
GLENN: No, it's not.
SENATOR DeMINT: These are some of the best historians and the most meticulous people that I've run into, and they are good people but they just don't believe as you and I do and a think in a lot of ways leaving out religious references will keep them from being criticized more than if they put it in.
GLENN: Sure.
SENATOR DeMINT: There's a beautiful display of the speaker's chair in the House -- a replica of the House of Representatives there in the visitors center with the speaker's chair and the flags on both sides and it looks very good but it was so obvious that in the House above the speaker's chair, you know, carved in marble is "In God we trust," and here was this beautiful replica done in a lot of detail that they would bring the kids in and all the tour groups but it had everything except "In God We Trust" on it. And even the photos of the actual speaker's chair were cropped where "In God We Trust" didn't show. And you think maybe they just missed it or something, but they didn't. It was intentional. You know, we made a fuss about it. I got a few folks from the House to help me and they said they would fix it, and I assume it's fixed but I don't know. But we also ran into here carved in marble in one of the columns there was, it said "Our national motto, E Pluribus Unum." The only problem with that is our national motto is "In God we trust." It was passed by congress, it's legally our motto. These people knew it was our motto. And we said, you have to change that; that's not true. And they said, oh, it's going to cost $150,000 to replace the column. So they kind of puttied over it or whatever for the opening because I held back the funding bill that would allow them to open it until they agreed to fix some of the most blatant things. But there are just so many references and so many aspects of our history, Glenn, that are dependent. We're built around faith. In fact, the more I study, the more I realize that freedom itself was spawned more by the reformation than anything else. That's when faith moved from being a religious hierarchy to being a personal individual thing and I think if you follow history from there, that's where you see freedom explode. But it's just disappointing in something that's that magnificent -- and I think it is -- leaves out so much that's important about our history.
GLENN: You know, in the Smithsonian there is the giant statue that was carved I believe for the rotunda of the Capitol at one point of George Washington where he's in a toga and he looks God-like, he looks Caesar-like and it was made a long, long time ago. I believe it's still in the Smithsonian and it was never allowed to sit in the rotunda. It sat in the basement of the Capitol for a very long time because it was offensive to so many because it made George Washington look like a God. And yet we have now in the visitors center that has just opened up in a large engraving it says "We have built no temple but the Capitol. We consult no common Oracle but the Constitution." Well, fist of all, I don't believe the Constitution is being consulted by at least one, maybe two branches, maybe three branches of government. But it's so offensive to me that our Capitol, it is becoming a temple. Our government and our leaders are positioning themselves. We could see wit Obama and we can see it quite honestly, when you take God out, who is giving law? The law's got to be coming from lawmakers, from the Supreme Court or the capital. This is -- and Senator DeMint, I assume -- I'm sorry, I don't know this and it doesn't really matter. I don't usually, you know, card people on this but I assume that you're a real God-fearing man. Does it at all ever frighten you that -- I mean, it's, we are getting to the point to where we're not just disengaging from God. It is like we are slapping him across the face.
SENATOR DeMINT: Well, it's really the radicalization of this idea of separation of church and state where I think our founders did want a government that made decisions that were not based on promoting any religion, in effect a secular government. But we have taken that to extremes where the government is now purging religion and faith from our entire society, whether it's a high school football game. I mean, you follow it all the way through. The secularization of America is out of control and the problem with that is right on the heels of secularization comes socialism, and you can follow that through history, something I've been working on a lot during the holidays here is just tracking the history of freedom and what we have to do to save it, and it's so obvious that secularization expands across the country -- and we've seen it in Europe -- it follows, socialism follows and the loss of a lot of our freedoms. Our freedom is built on faith in God and when we lose that sense of history, we lose a whole lot more than just a little bit of history. We lose what we are as a people and so a lot of us have chosen to fight this, and we really can't fight it very well inside of congress because the Democrats now have a majority and it's hard to get something like this through, and the only way we were able to get this changed is go to people like you on the outside who have a microphone and get the people themselves engaged, and we've gotten these few things changed. And they said that they would include in their rotation of exhibits more about our religious history, but they're not going to do that unless we force them to.
GLENN: Senator, we have about 45% of the American high school seniors at a minimum level of U.S. history, 47% at a minimum level. Only 14% perform at a at or above the proficient level of history, 14%. Thomas Jefferson said the boys of the rising generation are to be the men of the next and the sole guardians of the principles we deliver over to them. I don't think, Senator, anymore -- and talk me out of this. I don't think that our liberties are going to be protected through the government, I don't think there's enough people in the government and there's enough people quite honestly in the general population that are just relying on the school systems to teach. I think the individuals have to teach their children and have to take it upon themselves to really make sure that our history is passed on before we lose it. If you've only got 14% of this coming generation that is really understanding American history, what is it going to be the following generation?
SENATOR DeMINT: Well, and we have to remember that very few colleges now even require a course in American history. So those who get through high school and go on to college are still unlikely to learn about our history itself, and we need to remember that our founders pushed education for the primary reason that everyone could read a Bible for themselves. Folks don't like to hear that today but that's why Princeton and Yale and Harvard, all of these colleges, Ivy League colleges were formed to train pastors.
GLENN: Yeah, they were all religious schools, all of them religious schools.
SENATOR DeMINT: If you look at their mission statements, it's pretty amazing. But I think the good news is this, Glenn: We don't have to have even a majority of Americans who share that sense of faith and personal responsibility and personal accountability. We just need those who know better to rise up, to be active, to speak out. And that's the problem is people are whispering. They have been so cowed by this idea of, well, nothing about my faith belongs in the public square anymore. This separation of church and state has kind of beat us all down, when in fact that's not true. Our views, our values should be taken to the public debate and we should not allow politicians to exclude good policies and principles because they might have some religious connection. That's what's happening and that's why our government has moved towards really promoting things that are destructive rather than vice versa. But it doesn't take a majority. It just takes a small group of salt and light to change things and that's my source of optimism is that I think it was not a majority of people who actually made America what it was. It was some real leaders and champions, people with strong faith. And that's still what happens today at the community level because America's still working. I mean, I'm frustrated what's going on in Washington, but as I go around the community, there's still those large pockets of people with traditional families who are working hard and so that source of strength is still here. We just have to call on it and get those people more engaged on what we're doing as a country.
GLENN: I'm going to play a little bit of something that Harry Reid said yesterday and get your reaction from it. Well, let me play it. This is Harry Reid yesterday at the opening of the new capital center. Here it is.
REID: My staff has always said don't say this, but I'm going to say it again because it's so descriptive because it's true: Leader Bingham mentioned that tourists lined up in summer and winter, long lines coming into the Capitol. In the summertime because the high humidity and how hot it gets here, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. (Laughter). And that may be descriptive but it's true. Well, that is no longer going to be necessary.
GLENN: Okay. So now, now, Senator, you no longer have to smell the riffraff as they come through the Capitol building. I don't know if he's ever ridden a subway like I have in New York City but it's rather pungent almost year round in the subway system of New York or on the bus system anywhere in the country. You can smell the people around you. You know, I don't think that he necessarily meant that as an elitist, but this is the kind of stuff that I think people hear and say you elitist snob, you don't have to smell the people anymore?
SENATOR DeMINT: Well, first of all, they are not tourists, they are stockholders. And I remind everyone who comes to the Capitol that they are not touring. This is their capitol, it's their country and it's really up to them what happens to us in the future. But I think the smell, the subway or people coming, it's the smell of freedom. It's real people and I think when we start thinking the opposite, that's not a good thing. So --
GLENN: Senator, is there anything people can do quickly here? Do you need people to help you on anything on this project, or is it all too late? Have they already spent the --
SENATOR DeMINT: No, it's not. A lot of the displays are temporary, they're moving. They move different displays in from around the country and I think, first of all, we've got to make sure they follow through and just put the basics of our national motto "In God we trust," and there's some history, education, things that they just need to make history right. But everyone could e-mail or write or call a congressman or senator. And I think if everyone there sitting in the Capitol, members of the House and Senate know that people back home are aware of this that it will help us change things up there. That's what we're looking for is just some leverage because if folks up there think that folks back home don't know about this or don't care about it, then they are just going to ignore us.
GLENN: Senator, I know we've talked about this before. I'm getting a signal here we've got to cut off.
SENATOR DeMINT: Okay.
GLENN: I will tell you this, we've talked about it before, and I feel the clock ticking on this situation. I think we're sitting on a powder keg, Senator, and it scares me. I think there are people who are being so disenfranchised every single day that goes by and, gosh, Washington needs to wake up and turn. Instead of saying "I smell these people and I don't have to smell them anymore," they need to start listening to the people and start reconnecting with the values that the average American has.
SENATOR DeMINT: You are exactly right, and we need to encourage people to pray for our country because we are headed into a very, very difficult time and we're going to have to appeal to our core values.
GLENN: Our better selves, yes, and a higher power. Senator, thank you very much. I appreciate it.
SENATOR DeMINT: Thanks, Glenn, bye-bye.
GLENN: Senator DeMint from South Carolina.

Will Napolitano really keep us safe?
Janet Napolitano has failed to secure Arizona borders from illegal aliens; so how the hell is she going to protect the nation as Homeland Security Director? Napolitano; in my opinion has been weak on enforcing Arizona's borders. It has been reported that as many 3,000 illegals do the Mexican Hat dance across the borders on a daily basis; but what the hell they vote!
Lets look at her voting record she:
Vetoed denying in-state tuition and day care for illegal aliens.
Vetoed a bill making English the official state language of the state of Arizona.
Vetoed a bill that would have officially rejected the Matricula Consular from Mexico as a valid form of identification.
Vetoed a bill making being an illegal alien in Arizona a felony offense.
The National ledger stated that:
She has vetoed other immigration bills from the GOP-majority Legislature within the past year, including a proposal to give police the power to enforce federal immigration laws. She's also provided services for illegal aliens and is a proponent of driver’s licenses for illegals.
In a letter to lawmakers, Napolitano said she opposes automatically turning all immigrants who sneaked into the state into criminals and that the bill provided no funding for the new duties. But critics say she was being disingenuous with her statements. One police commander claims she failed to mention that entering the US illegally is already a crime, albeit a misdemeanor. In addition, reentry into the US once an alien is deported is already a felony in the US.
While immigrants provide the economy with cheap labor, Arizona spends tens of millions of dollars each year in health care and education costs for illegal workers and their families. An estimated 500,000 of the state's population of about 6 million are illegal immigrants. Read the rest of the story here.

How America is divided Politically
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2008 Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Democrats: 20; Republicans: 30
-Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000; Republicans: 2,427,000
-Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million; Republicans: 143 million
-Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2; Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in rented or government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
Amazing how we knew this along, maybe we can get the national press to post this!!!!! ok I am sorry but they told me I need more humor on this blog.
Accountabilty
I find it disheartning to hear our Goverment asking for accountabilty on issues from the private sector on how we spend our money, they want accountabilty from housing, banking, and now the automakers, when the money to these organaztions is private money earned, now do not get me wrong here, we need accountabilty every one of us, and these organazations are no different, I do believe that we have let them all get out of control and now it is painful as we reel them back in. But our government saying be accountable is like a bankrobber having the keys given to him and the security code for the alarm given to him by the bank manager and saying only take what you need
Our Government spends our tax dollars however they want and on whatever they want. We need to hold them all to higher standards. There is alot of websites out there that give information on who spent how much on what, we should post them on our blogs and webpages and keep the government accountable. Here is one that has been around awhile and seems to do a great job.

Reagans Call To Action
http://www.reaganaction.com/yes-we-can-cc/ Great Video
From the Desk of Michael Reagan
Dear Conservative Friend,
As Thanksgiving approaches this week, I find that I have more to be thankful for than ever.
Besides the obvious thing we all have to be thankful for -- living in the United States of America, the greatest country the world has ever seen -- I'm also incredibly grateful for your support for my new activist website for conservatives, ReaganAction.com, which has now gone LIVE!
As Canada Free Press editor Judi McLeod has noted, "Not only is it making huge waves of hope in contemporary political circles, ReaganAction.com is energizing grassroots conservatives and giving them new reasons to believe. It's a bonus side effect that the zippy new site is driving the ‘loony left' back to their antacid and the Kook-Aid jug.
Look out Pelosi, Reid and Obama! Just when you thought the coast was clear, here come American patriots in droves. Americans are snapping out of it and getting ready to take back what they call ‘the greatest country on Earth'.
Savvy, and willing, ready and able to lead the masses back on the right road, ReaganAction.com founding father Michael Reagan is ready for the radical liberals."
Thanks to the groundswell of support that has risen up since we launched the day after the election, we're already surpassing our initial goals -- but we also realize there is much to do if we are to take our country back.
We can't do it without YOUR help -- Join me now in the NEW Reagan Revolution, to bring true Conservatism BACK!
https://secure.conservativedonations.com/reagan_action/?a=1931
There's something else I'm thankful for: that I'm not alone in recognizing what needs to be done to rebuild the Conservative movement. We've received many emails of encouragement and support for ReaganAction.com. We hear the cry of the hearts of all Conservatives who love the United States of America and my dad, President Ronald Reagan. That's why I've dedicated this website and my work to leading the way to the New Conservatism by building on the great principles of my father.
Many of you probably remember the YouTube video that a bunch of liberal Hollywood celebrities put together during the recent presidential campaign, based on a speech by Barack Obama, called "Yes We Can." It featured a bunch of them singing (or chanting) those three words, over and over, while Obama gave a speech that seemed full of "hope" -- but was really just full of platitudes and empty dreams.
There was another man, 27 years ago, who gave a "Yes We Can" speech -- the original "Yes We Can" speech -- that truly DID inspire Americans to achieve their dreams, and the dreams of their forefathers. That man was my father, Ronald Reagan.
He gave many, many speeches; but one that stands out in my mind was the one he gave at his first inauguration, on January 20th, 1981. It was there that he reached down into his soul, and into the soul of America, and reminded all of us of our potential.
Now, there is another YouTube video up; but this one is full of clips of that momentous speech by Ronald Reagan, that spoke to the heart of true Conservatism -- the heart of true Americans.
This Thanksgiving, I'd like to get THAT message out across this great nation!
I can't do it without YOUR help -- Join me now in the NEW Reagan Revolution, to bring true Conservatism BACK!

You can watch this YouTube video by selecting here. It was put together by a user who calls himself "eaglephin," and who is obviously a great fan of my father. Just read the description he wrote for this video, which he simply calls, "Yes, we can":
It takes more than a pretty video and a bunch of celebrities singing to make a great president. It takes a person who understands where the true greatness of America lies.
Long before anyone ever heard of Barack Obama, Ronald Reagan challenged Americans to hope, to dream, to believe...
In themselves.
He brought change. He told us "yes we can". Except he also told us we didn't need government to do it. He inspired us with his words and his actions. He showed us that our individual liberty and creativity is what makes our country great not any government program...
Reagan was an idealist AND an ideologue. His policies were based in his rock solid conservative ideology. That doesn't mean he never compromised. But compromise is something different than standing on the same side of an issue with those who are supposed to be your political adversaries.
That's IT, in a nutshell. REAL change comes when WE take action -- NOT the government. REAL hope exists when WE provide it through OUR actions -- NOT the government. THAT is hope we can BELIEVE in!
That's the message I want to deliver to you, and all of America, this Thanksgiving... and far beyond. We have a lot of work to do, and we've only just begun to do it. That's why I founded ReaganAction.com -- to enable Conservatives across the country to do the work, but to do that work together, so we can make a REAL difference, and restore America to TRUE greatness -- not the "empty oratory of politicians who promise nothing but failed socialism in disguise," as "eaglefin" so aptly put it.
We need to work TOGETHER to succeed -- Join me now in the NEW Reagan Revolution, to bring true Conservatism BACK!
https://secure.conservativedonations.com/reagan_action/?a=1931
I receive a letter last week that reminded me of exactly why I'm doing what I'm doing. I want to share it with you, and I hope you'll share it with others as well:
Dear Michael Reagan,
I have donated the max amount to the cause to stop the "fairness" doctrine.
I wanted to thank you for following in your dad's footsteps as he was truly a great man who came along at a very critical time in American history.
I was only 12 years old when the American hostages in Iran were taken under Carters misery. I remember when your dad was elected the hostages were freed immediately and the pride was put back into being an American.
The military reforms your dad enacted immediately resulted in today's military pride and strength that few liberals understand is what protects them as Americans. I was fortunate enough to be awarded a ROTC 4 year scholarship under the expansion program your dad enacted which increased ROTC scholarships. I graduated with a technical degree and served 4 years active duty, then 12 in the reserves. I previously have worked as a civilian contractor in Iraq and now I work in Afghanistan.
If it had not been for the ROTC scholarship I would never have been able to go to school and advance myself. My great grandparents were legal immigrants from Italy of little means. My grandparents did better, as did my parents, by working hard to earn a living, buy a home and provide for us in order for each generation to do better. I am one of two collage graduates in my family and that is because of the opportunities offered to me by the ROTC scholarship programs you father enacted. I learned so much from this experience, which carries me forward to this day and is the sole reason I have been able to achieve and live the American dream.
I was in California the day your dad passed away and I cried. He is the greatest man I have known and I can only hope that some day this country is able to get back to the ethics and values he represented.
Thank you for all your hard work and I look forward to supporting the Reagan Activists through the next 4 years.
A Reagan Activist
I love that: "A Reagan Activist." That's why I'm doing what I'm doing -- and why I'm so thankful this Thanksgiving season -- because people like that writer, and people like YOU, are willing to do whatever it takes to bring America BACK to the true conservative principles that made it the greatest nation on earth.
Let's work TOGETHER to win -- Join me now in the NEW Reagan Revolution, to bring true Conservatism BACK!
https://secure.conservativedonations.com/reagan_action/?a=1931
Together, WE CAN DEFEAT THE LEFT and restore TRUE conservative values to America! Join in today!
Sincerely,
Michael Reagan, Chairman
ReaganAction.com
P.S. We are facing a real crisis in America -- not only a financial crisis, but a crisis of hope. That's how Barack Obama got elected: by campaigning on a theme of "hope." But the hope Obama offers is hope in government, not hope in Americans.
Obama, and all of his socialist cronies, are WRONG. As my father said in his ORIGINAL "Yes We Can" speech, "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government IS the problem."
I need YOUR help to spread this message far and wide -- Join me now in the NEW Reagan Revolution, to bring true Conservatism BACK!

Christians and Iran
Iranian Anti-Christian Film Should be a U.N. Hit!Posted by Gorgo under The U.N. at it Again Tags: christianity, fitna, islam, united nations
At least a new Anti-Christian film by Muslims will be better in line with our free speech values than things like, shooting people that make them angry.
So, needless to say we can’t count on the United Nations to defend ideas that we hold dear, such as free speech and um . . . any other good ideas that Americans came up with so I just love it when people like Nancy Pelosi say that we need to be more in tune with the United Nations.
We already know that upon even hearing about Geert Wilder’s film Fitna there were riots. We don’t even need to mention the violent cartoon riots. And we also know the United Nation’s stance on those particular efforts in self-expression and support of liberty and free speech. The United Nations has insited that sites like Google and Youtube remove the movie Fitna. I am wondering if they will show any support for Christians when an Iranian backed film, Beyond Fitna, comes out. The film will focus on what Iran’s FARS news agency says is:
. . .orders given to worldwide Christians in the (distorted) version of the Bible for stoking violence, committing genocide, attacking others, beheading and burning women and children who have been taken into captivity.
I know, I know, you may be thinking that this film is a terrible insult to Christians, but calm down. Before we even see this movie, I can guarantee you one very obvious difference between it and movies like Fitna. Christians who kill and maim in the name of their religon are going against Christ’s teachings. Muslims who murder, behead Christians and Jews, beat their wives, and commit acts of terror are doing exactly what their religon and holy book tell them to do.

This is the sad reality that the average American is all too happy to overlook. Like the person that said to me, “Islam is a religon of peace, isn’t it?” we can pretty much guarantee that even if this movie is filled with obvious lies, it will be picked up by Ameripeans as the latest gospel. They won’t bother to skip on over to a site like MemriTV to find out that they have been completely hornswoggled (don’t you just love that word). This site is not for the sensitive patriot. Shouts of “Death to America!” are the norm.
What this new film probably won’t say is that there is a doctrinal difference between Muslims and Christians. If a crazy goes and bombs an abortion clinic, killing doctors or nurses while claiming to be saving human life - we call him just what he is, ‘a crazy’! He is not following the message of Jesus Christ. If a Muslim cuts off the head of a Jewish person, the Koran tells them they are doing Allah’s will. Does this make sense to anyone but me? I swear you could repeat this statement in plain English, or Liberal Double-speak if necessary and you’d still get blank stares as if you just tried to explain trickle-down economics to a third grader (or a bureaucrat). This is as simple as it gets, BUT there is a huge problem with your typical anti-Christian’s understanding of these ideas. They are either judging Christianity from a rebellious position, wanting religon to be something that doesn’t affect their secular habits or they have emotional damage from what they perceive as or experience oppression from Christians. I’ve seen both kinds and experienced some myself. I’m sorry to say, Christianity is what it is, but you can’t make judgements on it based on people. You can call those people bad people, but don’t dismiss the teachings of Christ. He preached hope for salvation, love for your neighbor, and obedience to God. It’s just that last one that we don’t like too much.
But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking our tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.Luke 6: 27-31
Some of the Koran’s greatest hits:
(Quran 5:33): The Punishment for those who oppose Allah and his messenger is: Execution or Crucifixion or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides or exile from the land.If you choose not to follow Jesus Christ, He does not tell His followers to kill you.
(Quran 9:5): Then when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.
(Quran 8:12): Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them.”
(Quran 5:49-51) O YOU WHO BELIEVE! DO NOT TAKE THE JEWS AND THE CHRISTIANS FOR FRIENDS; THEY ARE FRIENDS OF EACH OTHER; AND WHOEVER AMONGST YOU TAKES THEM FOR A FRIEND, THEN SURELY HE IS ONE OF THEM; SURELY ALLAH DOES NOT GUIDE THE UNJUST PEOPLE.Jesus tells us to pray for our enemies. . .
[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state ofsubjugation.Christians are not called to dominate those who disagree with us, though it is sure a lot easier when they aren’t trying to do it to us.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!First off, I don’t know any Christians or Jews say this . . .
[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.
(9:5) When the sacred months have passed away, THEN SLAY THE IDOLATERS WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE THEM CAPTIVES AND BESIEGE THEM AND LIE IN WAIT FOR THEM IN EVERY AMBUSH, then if they repent and keep up prayer [become believers] and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to themOh! That’s all we have to do!?!?! Well why didin’t you say so?!?!?!
(60:2-4) WE DECLARE OURSELVES TO BE CLEAR OF YOU, AND ENMITY AND HATRED HAVE APPEARED BETWEEN US AND YOU FOREVER UNTIL YOU BELIEVE IN ALLAH ALONEI believe in that, alone . . .without any followers . . . that would be the best condition for the human race.

The Great Birth Certificate Scandal/Cover-Up of ‘08
The Great Birth Certificate Scandal/Cover-Up of ‘08
By Joan Swirsky
Monday, 24 November 2008
Analysis: Last week, newscasters reported that al Qaeda’s #2 terrorist disparaged the election of Barack Obama, and hurled racial slurs at Obama himself. “The report has not been confirmed by the State Department,” they all said, but they reported it anyway. Fox News reporter Carl Cameron told viewers that three “anonymous” insiders of Sen. McCain’s campaign said that Sarah Palin was, in essence, a diva and a dunce. He – and dozens of others who picked up the story on other channels – never identified, or even verified, the sources of the quotes, but they reported them anyway.
Contrast these shabby examples of “journalism” with the legions of identifiable, verifiable and credible sources who for months have been investigating the disturbing allegation that Barack Obama is ineligible for the presidency because he has failed to meet one of the three requirements that the U.S. Constitution mandates, specifically that he provide proof of his “natural born” U.S. citizenship.
What follows is a partial list of people and organizations that have challenged Obama’s eligibility. Further on I will comment on how egregious the media’s failure to cover this story has been. And last, I will speculate on the reason for the cover-up of this full-blown scandal.
Attorney Philip J. Berg, former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania and a longtime Democrat partisan, sued Obama and the Democratic National Committee for what he alleged was the DNC’s failure to vet Obama, and Obama’s failure to provide an authentic and verifiable U.S. birth certificate. The suit was dismissed as "too vague…" Berg filed a writ of certiorari in the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct.30, to force Obama to produce his birth certificate. On Nov. 3, Justice David Souter rejected Berg’s emergency appeal for the court to halt the tabulation of the 2008 presidential election results, but set a schedule for a response from Obama, the DNC and all co-defendants on or before Dec. 1. Berg claims to have a tape recording of Obama’s Kenyan grandmother saying that she was present at Obama’s birth in Kenya, along with his half-brother and half-sister. Here is his website.
According to WorldNetDaily, blogger Jeff Schreiber said a second case was presented to the Supreme Court on the same issue, i.e., the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has waived its right to respond to a complaint brought by attorney Philip Berg, possibly – among other reasons – because they liked their odds of Berg's petition getting denied. Berg said that if the FEC filed not solely on its own behalf but “on behalf of the DNC and Barack Obama too, it reeks of collusion."
Dr. T.B. Bradley, a forensic psychologist, stated, as part of the Berg case, that, “Upon reading all of the books written by or about Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. aka Barry Soetoro (hereinafter Obama) Applicant discerned that Obama was not a natural born citizen of the United States or if he was a natural born citizen that he had lost his citizenship when his biological mother married Lolo Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia. Obama then became a citizen of Indonesia as a result of his mother's expatriation of herself and her son, by self declaration on legal public educational records that Obama was formally known as Barry Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia [and] was not US Constitutionally qualified to hold the Office of the United States Senator from Illinois or the Office of the President of the United States.”
Author, radio host, blogger, and Chicago attorney Andy Martin filed a suit in Hawaii's Supreme Court to compel Gov. Linda Lingle to release a certified copy of Obama's vital statistics record. His request was denied. On Nov. 18, he petitioned a judge in Hawaii for access to Obama’s original 1961 birth certificate, and reported that “the judge reserved judgment.” But when he arrived back in the states, he learned that Judge Bert Ayabe had dismissed the case.
Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes filed a suit with the California Secretary of State asking that the state's 55 Electoral College votes not be cast on December 15 until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. Keyes’ suit was filed by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation, along with California Electors Wiley S. Drake and Markham Robinson. The action states: "Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States, and, thereby, his election declared void….(a) usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal." Former California Secretaries of State have reviewed background documents to verify the eligibility of candidates. In 1968, the Peace and Freedom Party submitted the name of Eldridge Cleaver as a qualified candidate for POTUS. Then Secretary of State, Frank Jordan, found that according to Cleaver's birth certificate, he was only 34 years old, one year shy of the age needed to be on the ballot. Mr. Jordan removed Mr. Cleaver from the ballot. Cleaver unsuccessfully challenged this decision to the Supreme Court of the State of California and to the Supreme Court.
Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan, a retired 23-year veteran of the Army, National Guard, and Air Force filed another suit in North Carolina, which claimed Obama should not have been on the state's election ballot because his citizenship is in doubt.
David M. Neal of Ohio filed a suit in Warren Common Pleas Court to force the Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.
Cort Wrotnowski of Connecticut asked the court to order Secretary of State, Susan Bysiewicz, to verify Obama's citizenship before allowing the candidate to appear on the state ballot. The case was denied.
Steven Marquis filed a suit Washington State Superior Court, calling for Secretary of State, Sam Reed, to determine whether Obama is a citizen before Election Day, claiming the Hawaii birth certificate reveals neither the hospital where Obama was born nor a doctor's name the baby's footprint. The case was denied.
Rev. Tom Terry of Georgia appealed to the Georgia Supreme Court the day before the election to determine authenticity of Obama's original birth certificate and his qualifications to be president. Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter denied Terry's request for an injunction against Secretary of State Karen Handel.
Author Jerome Corsi, who has written extensively about this case, traveled to Hawaii and Kenya. He learned that the Certification of Live Birth that the Obama campaign posted is, according to the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, not the same as a Certificate of Live Birth, which authenticates Hawaiian birth.
Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro, has named two different Hawaii hospitals where Obama could have been born. In November 2004 she said he was born at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, but in February 2008, she said he was born in the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. Before the election, the Internet site, WorldNetDaily, retained a private investigator in Hawaii to visit both hospitals, but he reported that sheriff's deputies were stationed at both hospitals to fend off inquiries.
Leo C. Donofrio a retired attorney, started a website and filed a suit in New Jersey on November 3, asking Secretary of State, Nina Mitchell Wells, for an emergency stay prohibiting Obama, Sen. McCain, and Socialist Worker’s Party candidate Roger Calero, from appearing on New Jersey's ballot, claiming all three are not “natural born citizens.” On Nov. 6, Supreme Court Justice David Souter denied Donofrio's application. But the case has now entered the docket of the U.S. Supreme Court and Justice Clarence Thomas has decided to send it to conference on December 5th! This means that only 10 days before the Electoral College votes, the nine Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court will meet privately to discuss Donofrio’s case.
Douglas J. Hagmann, director of HomelandSecurityUS.com, has reported that 17 lawsuits in 12 states are challenging the eligibility of Obama to become the next President of the United States.
Numerous activist groups have undertaken letter-writing campaigns to the Supreme Court Justices, members of the Electoral College, and elected officials, as well as sending urgent appeals to the White House and the Department of Justice.
Websites like Citizens for the United States Constitution, We The People, PeoplesPassion, America Must Know, and Faith2Action have sprung up in passionate defense of our Constitution’s integrity. The last of these has even posted the names and addresses of Electoral College members from each state, as well as an ad in The Washington Times.
Dozens of petitions, like this one, have been circulated.
And dozens of mostly-conservative writers (including Devy Kidd and Miichelle Malkin), bloggers and journalists have written about his strange case and potential Constitutional crisis, as I have in a series of articles – here and here and here and here.
Coverage of the above by the media: Zero.
A DEAFENING SILENCE
It is no mystery that the leftist media have refused to mention this potentially looming Constitutional crisis in virtually all of their print and electronic coverage. Having shilled for Obama for the past two years – dismissing his longtime radical associations, obfuscating his radical voting record, and taking a pass at their jobs of vetting a presidential candidate – their failure to cover the most explosive story of the 2008 campaign speaks volumes about collusion of the highest order.
Then there are the late-night comics, as well as snarky “humorists” like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart, who take pride in being irreverent and “outing” both people and subjects that others avoid. Not a word.
But what about the failure of the powerful conservative media – how to explain their total blackout of this story? Let’s look at their reactions:
Fox News: Total Silence. Did the healthy shares that Saudi Arabia bought of Fox influence the network’s non-coverage of this story? After all, it’s no secret which candidate the Saudis endorsed! We know that TV shows, including Fox, are on a seven-second delay, the better to bleep out offensive or inappropriate material. Doesn’t it strike Fox viewers as strange that not one of their outspoken guests, even once, mentioned this story? Who warned them not to?
Rush Limbaugh: Total Silence. Why has the Excellence-in-Broadcasting’s “Dr. of Democracy” – the man who eats sacred cows for breakfast – not touched this story?
Mark Levin: Total Silence. Why has this popular radio host, commonly known as “the Great One,” abandoned his well-deserved reputation as a Constitutional scholar to studiously not address this Constitutional issue?
Laura Ingraham: Total Silence. Here is another radio powerhouse and former clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas taking pains not to mention this case…not a word!
Bill O’Reilly: Total Silence. Yes, the guy who claims he’s “just looking out for the folks”…voiceless!
Sean Hannity: Total Silence. The iconic radio and TV host who tackles every controversial subject under the sun…missing in action!
I could go on and on, but you get the picture. The very people – the so-called loyal opposition – who should have been shouting this story from the rooftops for months on end went mute. Ordinarily they would be the first to tell you that our Republic has no more precious document than the U.S. Constitution – a document that set the stage for the greatest experiment in human freedom since the beginning of recorded history. People like me – and multi-millions of others – are aware of what happens when the “salami tactics” of tyrants are employed in the service of leftwing ideology.
First, there is a charismatic character promising “change” and “hope,” but who changes his tune once in power. Second there is a whittling down of the laws of the land and the arrogant dismissal of the documents on which the nation was founded. Third there is the blacking-out of all media that disagree with Dear Leader’s message. And fourth there is the rounding-up and incarceration – or worse – of all dissidents.
This is not theory. This is history. But while both left and right media thought it appropriate to comment at length about Obama’s seven-page Questionnaire for those seeking work in his administration – a probing that makes a Pap Test, mammogram, colonoscopy, and endoscopy in one visit seem mild by comparison – not one of these cowardly journalists has asked the simple question: Mr. Obama, where is your birth certificate?
Or were they not cowards but patriots?
SCROUNGING FOR ANSWERS
I’ve written several books, not one of them fictional. And thousands of articles, not one of them based on sinister suspicions or conspiracy theories. But the case of the U.S. media’s complete non-coverage of this major story has gotten me to speculate on what – or who – may be behind this phenomenon. What force could be so powerful as to silence our country’s putative guardians of free speech – the titans of the Fourth Estate?
Perhaps the mystery goes back to 2004, when President Bush won his second term in office and in his first press conference in the White House said that he had "earned political capital and intended to spend it."
Then – suddenly and inexplicably – he went into a year-long hibernation. He rarely appeared in public and gave no major speeches. Finally he reemerged – albeit weakly – in late November or early December of 2005 Could it be that shortly after the president’s reelection, he and major government officials received highly credible evidence from America’s ruthless Islamist enemies that they had a number of devastating (probably nuclear suitcase) weapons – set up and ready to be activated in as many as six-to-10 of our major cities – unless he (the president) tacked left and played nice for the following two years?
Was America taken hostage?
The president, one could speculate, had only two choices: (1) play “chicken” and possibly sacrifice the lives of millions of Americans and the destruction of major American cities, or (2) opt for the lesser of two evils, the second being to pave the way for a dangerous Trojan Horse – qualified or not – to capture the White House.
Could it be that the media blackout of the most explosive story of any presidential election in American history has been choreographed by none other than the current POTUS – the most powerful man in the entire world? This would certainly explain why President Bush has not “been himself” since January 20, 2005. It would also explain why the all-powerful media have taken his marching orders – including the New York Times, which takes particular pleasure in undermining and sabotaging the president, even when it comes to national security issues.
If this happened, it would have had to involve the highest echelon in our intelligence services, who might have paid personal visits to publishers throughout the United States, as well as to top TV and radio executives, who themselves would have passed down iron-clad orders – to their anchors, broadcasters, even comedians – to follow the blackout order or face Draconian consequences.
On November 4 – Election Day – the Dow was above 9,000. It is now plummeting, suggesting that even the “globalists” among us prefer tax cuts and capitalism to tax hikes and not creeping but galloping socialism – or what the esteemed Dr. Jack Wheeler insists is fascism.
Buyers’ remorse is in the air. America has been hijacked. What a price we will pay if the Supreme Court and the Electoral College abandon their oaths to uphold the U.S. Constitution by capitulating – as the media have – to our enemies. God Save America!

To All Conservatives
An Open Letter to the GOP, and to all elected officials.
I am an American who wishes to keep this Country Free, I believe the United States of America is the Greatest Country in the world, and that our forefathers believed in God and Country, that the Constitution was written for the average person and that it is filled with Truths that all Men and Women are created equal, that every American is protected under the Constitution and our Bill of rights.
I do believe we should help the world when called upon, to defend the freedoms of others, to teach them how to farm and build and cultivate a social structure where all are free and become self sufficient.
I Do Not Support the U.N and I wish it to leave American Soil and disband, I believe it is a society of greedy and selfish people who wish to rule the world. And that it is useless, that it should pay back the money it owes the American Tax payer apologize and leave immediately.
I do not discriminate based on Race, Sex, or Religious beliefs. I believe that every American is equal and should be given opportunities to succeed. I believe we are a Republic, and OUR Government is for the People and by the People.
I believe in Free Enterprise, that every American should have the opportunity to make something better for them, and their families, that Government should not give hand outs but a hand up.
I believe that Big Government disables people to work and provide for themselves to earn a living, to miss the reward of a day’s labor by providing for themselves or their family. That the government takes too much from those who do work and gives to those who won’t work.
I believe that every American should have freedom of speech, but I also believe that words are different than actions.
I believe that every American should have the right to bear arms, and to be able to defend themselves and to provide for their family by hunting if they so choose.
I believe that are Judicial system needs fixed, we have a system where the criminal has more rights than the victim; I believe that punishment should fit the crime.
I believe that we need a strong defense, and a very strong military presence. That we do not accept acts of terror whether foreign or domestic as a passing phase but that we strike it down now and with full force.
I believe that every American should be protected and that abortion is murder that life begins at conception, I believe in the case of rape the lady should be given all choices available to her but with care and love and guidance, if abortion is the final result then she would make an educated choice not an emotional one. I believe that pro choice stops when two people consent.
I believe that we cannot take God out of our Country any more, we need laws and morality to help mold and govern our society that without God we will become a dead and chaotic society in a barren wasteland of what we used to be.
I believe in the sanctity of marriage between One Man and One Woman, if you choose to have a different lifestyle, that is your choice. I do not have to agree with you anymore than you have to agree with me.
I believe that we need to disband the IRS and make our tax code simple, we do not need to spend taxpayer money on the study of snail slime, or on outrageous prices for equipment or bridges to nowhere, if you cannot use our money wisely then leave it to us.
I believe that to whom much is given much is required, that we as fellow Americans should help one another, through our religious organizations and charities not through the Government, we know how to redistribute our money on causes we believe in, not what the Government believes in, I believe that people who Govern should be transparent in all they do.
I believe that God gave us enough natural resources to be self sufficient that we do not need to depend on any other country for our needs of energy, or food or defense. I believe it is time our Government started paying attention to us the American People and stop worrying what the world thinks, we are who you work for.
We are those people who pay your salaries, your healthcare, your transportation, your housing, your fuel, your food, your clothing, your education bills while we cannot pay our own, we are fed up with those of you who have sold us out, we want results from those who we put in office.

America the way I see it
I was reading Ronald Reagan’s acceptance speech from 1984 and it helped believe in this Country again, who we are, where we came from and that as long as we have the very breathe of life left in us, Freedom will never die.The following is copied from His speech, although I did rearrange it.“We came together in a national crusade to make America great again, and to make a new beginning, The poet called Miss Liberty's torch led the way the "lamp beside the golden door." Well, that was the entrance to America, and it still is. The glistening hope of that lamp is still ours. Every promise, every opportunity is still golden in this land. And through that golden door our children can walk into tomorrow with the knowledge that no one can be denied the promise that is America. Her heart is full; her door is still golden, her future bright. She has arms big enough to comfort and strong enough to support, for the strength in her arms is the strength of her people. She will carry us unafraid, unashamed, and unsurpassed. We don't celebrate dependence day on the Fourth of July. We celebrate Independence Day. We celebrate the right of each individual to be recognized as unique, possessed of dignity and the sacred right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. At the same time, with our independence goes a generosity of spirit more evident here than in almost any other part of the world. Recognizing the equality of all men and women, we're willing and able to lift the weak, cradle those who hurt, and nurture the bonds that tie us together as one nation under God.We believe in the uniqueness of each individual. We believe in the sacredness of human life. For some time now we've all fallen into a pattern of describing our choice as left or right. It's become standard rhetoric in discussions of political philosophy. But is that really an accurate description of the choice before us?Go back a few years to the origin of the terms and see where left or right would take us if we continued far enough in either direction. Stalin. Hitler. One would take us to Communist totalitarianism; the other to the totalitarianism of Hitler.Isn't our choice really not one of left or right, but of up or down? Down through the welfare state to statism, to more and more government largesse accompanied always by more government authority, less individual liberty and, ultimately, totalitarianism, always advanced as for our own good. The alternative is the dream conceived by our Founding Fathers, up to the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with an orderly society. When we talk of the plight of our cities, what would help more than our enterprise zones bill, which provides tax incentives for private industry to help rebuild and restore decayed areas in 75 sites all across America? If they really wanted a future of boundless new opportunities for our citizens, why have they buried enterprise zones over the years in committee? Our opponents are openly committed to increasing our tax burden. We are committed to stopping them, and we will. Our tax policies are and will remain prowork, progrowth, and profamily. We intend to simplify the entire tax system—to make taxes more fair, easier to understand, and, most important, to bring the tax rates of every American further down, not up. Now, if we bring them down far enough, growth will continue strong; the underground economy will shrink; the world will beat a path to our door; and no one will be able to hold America back; and the future will be oursIs there any doubt that they will raise our taxes? That they will send inflation into orbit again? That they will make government bigger then ever? And deficits even worse?Raise unemployment?Cut back our defense preparedness?Raise interest rates?Make unilaterial and unwise concessions to the World? And they'll do all that in the name of compassion. It's what they've done to America in the past. But if we do our job right, they won't be able to do it again. As we ask for their help, we should also answer the central question of public service: Why are we here? What do we believe in? Well for one thing, we're here to see that government continues to serve the people and not the other way around. Yes, government should do all that is necessary, but only that which is necessary. We Come together in a national crusade to make America great again, and to make a new beginningWe don't lump people by groups or special interests. And let me add, in the party of Lincoln, there is no room for intolerance and not even a small corner for anti-Semitism or bigotry of any kind. Many people are welcome in our house, but not the bigots. Finally, we're here to shield our liberties, not just for now or for a few years but forever.”We proclaimed a dream of an America that would be "a shining city on a hill."I do believe we are that shining city on a hill that one voice can make a difference, and that if we come together not as republicans but as conservatives we can help this country get back on course, we are Americans, and it is our duty to fight for all we are, for all we have and have been given, to stick to our morals and exercise our rights. No government should tell us how to spend our money, who we should give it to, how we should worship, if we can own guns, no government should be able to exercise eminent domaine over our very lives. I believe in an America that is free .Brian Kinnett

And so it begins
NEW YORK – A case of post-election nerves sent stocks plunging Wednesday as investors, again anxious about a recession, began questioning what impact a Barack Obama presidency will have on business and the overall economy. The Dow Jones industrials dropped more than 400 points and the major indexes all fell more than 4 percent.
Stocks fell initially as investors cashed in gains after a six-day run that lifted the Standard & Poor's 500 index more than 18 percent. But the selling picked up momentum as the market worried anew about the weakness of the economy and pondered what an Obama administration might do.
Obama will inherit an enormous budget deficit when he is sworn in Jan. 20. Analysts said that the market is already growing anxious about whom Obama selects as the next Treasury Secretary, as well as whom he picks for other Cabinet positions.
"A lot of the policy going forward is going to have an effect on the various sectors of the market," said Joe Keetle, senior wealth manager for Dawson Wealth Management.
Obama's victory means that industries such as oil and gas producers, utilities and pharmaceuticals may face greater regulation and even taxes, while labor unions and automakers are expected to benefit.
In addition, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and the rest of the financial sector will almost certainly face attempts at a regulatory overhaul by the Democratic Congress next year.
The economy, and how long and deep the current downturn will be, weighed heavily on the market Wednesday.
"I think what is happening in the market is a continuation of really the last few weeks," said Subodh Kumar, global investment strategist at Subodh Kumar & Associates in Toronto. "The markets are still incorporating the slowdown in the global economy."
"I would put what we're seeing today not so much as disappointment about policy from the incoming administration and more about continuing to incorporate assessments about how weak economies are," he said.
Analysts said investors were growing uneasy in advance of the Labor Department's October employment report, to be issued on Friday. Economists on average expect a 200,000 drop in payrolls, according to Thomson/IFR. Employers have been slashing jobs after a freeze-up in the credit markets crippled many companies' ability to get financing.
The market showed no initial reaction to the release of the Institute for Supply Management's services sector index, which fell to 44.4 in October from 50.2 in September. But the decline, a steeper drop than the market expected, did add to the overall gloom on the Street.
In late afternoon trading, the Dow fell 402.94, or 4.19 percent, to 9,222.34.
The S&P 500 index fell 39.88, or 3.97 percent, to 965.87. Through the six sessions that ended Tuesday, the index, the one most closely watched by market professionals, rose 18.3 percent.
The Nasdaq composite index fell 70.66, or 3.97 percent, to 1,709.46, while the Russell 2000 index of smaller companies fell 22.66, or 4.15 percent, to 523.31.
Declining issues outnumbered advancers by about 3 to 1 on the New York Stock Exchange, where volume came to a light 808 million shares. Light volume can raise questions about the conviction of the market's moves; in down days it can overstate the negativity of investor sentiment.
Wednesday's trading, which followed a 300-point jump in the Dow on Tuesday, showed that the market is living up to expectations of continued volatility as it tries to recover from the devastating losses of the last two months.
Bill Stone, chief investment strategist at PNC Wealth Management said the uncertainty over the direction the government's financial bailout plan will take under the next administration likely weighed on financial stocks Wednesday.
Analysts agree that Obama's most immediate priority will be dealing with the nation's financial crisis and deciding how to further implement the $700 billion rescue package passed by Congress last month. He is expected to move quickly to get a team in place to work with outgoing Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
"You've got to believe that the Obama camp knows you have to have a smooth transition," Stone said.
Bank of America Corp. shares dropped $1.87, or 7.6 percent, to $22.66. Citigroup Inc. fell $1.68, or 11.4 percent, to $13. Morgan Stanley, meanwhile, tumbled $1.37, or 7.3 percent, to $17.53.
In addition to monitoring the direction the next administration will take, investors continue to heed the state of the credit markets. The paralysis in the credit markets that began after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in mid-September has been alleviated somewhat by a series of government interventions, but they still show some signs of strain.
"The credit markets are starting to show some improvement and I think that has to continue for all the markets to do well," Keetle said.
Banks continued to ratchet down the rates they charge one another for borrowing on Wednesday, but the key interbank lending rate — the London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor — remains well above the Federal Reserve's target interest rate of 1.00 percent. Libor for three-month dollar loans fell to 2.51 percent from 2.71 percent Tuesday.
And the bid for Treasury bills remains high. The three-month bill, considered one of the safest assets around, fell to 0.40 percent from 0.48 percent late Tuesday. A low yield indicates high demand.
The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note fell slightly to 3.68 percent from 3.73 percent late Tuesday.
The dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices fell.
Other sectors that are being closely watched in light of the election results are pharmaceuticals and alternative energy, analysts said.
Merck & Co. Inc. shares fell $2.02, or 6.5 percent, to $29.11. Pfizer Inc., meanwhile, dipped 92 cents, or 5.1 percent, to $17.17. SunTech Power Holdings Co. was among the alternative energy stocks that declined, falling $3.46, or 17.1 percent, to $16.77.
Light, sweet crude dropped $4.88 to $65.65 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
In Asian trading, Japan's Nikkei index rose 4.46 percent, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 3.17 percent. Britain's FTSE 100 fell 2.34 percent, Germany's DAX index fell 2.11 percent, and France's CAC-40 fell 1.98 percent.
